An original from the 1960s, this rather beautiful linen Pilkingtons bus blind is from a route covering large parts of Lancashire and beyond. I'm no time detective, but I think this probably relates to Pilkington's Tile and Pottery Company, foredm in 1891 in Clifton, Salford. Pilkingtons Glass also have a premises in Salford too, so maybe it was for there instead? Any clues gratefully received! This bus blind has signs of its age, such as discolouration and other marks, but this just makes it even more attractive.

Framed dimensions - 84cm x 24cm
Framed in a 30mm wide black card mount with black core, and 30mm wooden frame with black painted finish. Supplied framed and ready to hang.
