Opened in 1929, Park Hospital in Davyhulme was requisitioned for use as a military hospital in the Second World War, and many service personnel from around the world were treated there. This included the US Army and it's even rumoured that Glenn Miller himself entertained the troops at the hospital. Just a few years later, on 5th June 1948, it was the venue from which Aneurin Bevan officially launched the NHS, as it was the most modern hospital in the country at that time. It was renamed Trafford General Hospital in 1988, which still remains on the same site today.

A little more compact in size than the standard bus blinds at 71cm wide, this 60s original is printed on an early tyvek type material, giving an incredibly crisp finish with a slight gloss shine to the white lettering. It is in excellent condition for its age.
