Lying a few miles north east of Manchester city centre, Moston's name is believe to have been derived from the old english 'moss' and 'ton' meaning a mossy or boggy settlement.
A little more compact in size than the standard bus blinds at 71cm wide, this 60s original is printed on an early tyvek type material, giving an incredibly crisp finish with a slight gloss shine to the white lettering. It is in excellent condition for its age, although at some point someone has decided to have a go at a few of the letters with a white pen or something, so they having a charming and naive repaired appearance to them, zoom in on the photo to see!
