An original from the 1960s, this rather beautiful linen M.E.L. bus blind is from a route covering large parts of Lancashire and beyond. Apparently this acronym stands for Monitoring, Learnign and Evaluation, though I suspect in this instance it is an abbreviation for a business, factory or works in Lancashire or nearby. So let me know if you have any ideas? This bus blind has signs of its age, such as discolouration and other marks, but this just makes it even more attractive.

Framed in a 30mm wide black card mount with black core, and 30mm wooden frame with black painted finish. Supplied framed and ready to hang.
