Named after the long since illegal 'sport' of cock fighting, the Fighting Cocks area of Wolverhampton is still home to many shops and businesses that share the unusual name. The most famous of these was probably the pub which has since been replaced by an Aldi supermarket, but was on the site of Wolverhampton Wanderers first ground. Wolves was established in 1877 and made this site, which was then known as Old Windmill Field, their home. This Fighting Cocks bus blind comes from the upper blind used on a Wolverhampton bus in the 1980s.
As this is a genuine original bus blind produced in 1986, it may show signs of age such as small creases, marks or discolouration. Check the photo for a closer look. It is expertly framed to order and supplied ready to hang.
