Once the heart of Manchester's 19th century industrial peak, with huge mills thriving with thousands of workers and interconnecting tram tunnels carrying stuff backwards and forwards. Most of the mills have been converted to flats with one remaining empty that became a printing works from 1888, named the Hotspur Press from 1933 to 1959, whos signage can still be seen today, making it one of our favourite old buildings in Manchester. So whether you have a historical connection to Cambridge Street and its Mills or are lucky enough to be a resident there today, this framed bus blind would be a great addition to your home or office.
A little more compact in size than the standard bus blinds at 71cm wide, this 60s original is printed on an early tyvek type material, giving an incredibly crisp finish with a slight gloss shine to the white lettering. It is in excellent condition for its age.
