Built on the route of an original Roman Road that is now the A56, it is foten considered more a part of Cheshire than it is Manchester. The opening of the Sale section of Bridgewater Canal in 1765 allowed its residents to commute by boat to nearby Manchester, something that's still possible today (if you have a canal boat and an hour or so to spare!). Like much of Manchester, it enjoyed prosperity in the 19th century from cotton and textiles and is still considered a lovely place to live now. If you live there, this stylish bus blind is probably the only Sale sign you'd want anywhere near your house! Fortunately that pun isn't included when you by it!

A little more compact in size than the standard bus blinds at 71cm wide, this 60s original is printed on an early tyvek type material, giving an incredibly crisp finish with a slight gloss shine to the white lettering. It is in excellent condition for its age.
