Design loving Emma and James Emmerson started 1973 at their kitchen table in Brighton over twenty years ago, naming it after they year they were both born. Their combined passions for print, typography, colour and stationery drive them to produce gorgeous and sustainable items, mostly from their own workshop in London. They have worked with a number of renowned designers, including typography genius Anthony Burrill, to create some unique and highly desirable stationery items.
